The Call

Most Africans living abroad have strong emotional and metal ties to their homeland. Africans living in the U.S. often dream of returning home to give something to the people who are not as fortunate as they are. Africa is a continent rich in natural resources but, for a variety of reasons, She is not yet developed leaving most youth feeling optimistic about their futures. The significant development that is happening often lacks any focus on children.

What we can do?

KidsAfrik has grown since it began in 2006. The vision is the same but the initial goals have developed differently. The project seems to be growing rapidly even without proper resources, I to re-organized to work on more tangible, immediate milestones that will serve the ultimate goal. The goal is to have the program up and running to its full potential via 5 year-long stages starting in January 2010.

Stage 1 (this year) is critical for fund raising, marketing and promotion including regular progress updates. Over the next two years we will create a complete KidsAfrik program both in Senegal and in the US with a full working youth program .

My vision, ambition and passion for this project will be the major fuel to make THE DREAM come true. This project will be a blue print to demonstrate that the children of Africa can rise to a better present and future.

KidsAfrik's main focus is to help create opportunities for young people in Africa and the US.
