KidsAfrik trains American and African youth to excel within the Beautiful Game. Soccer is our tool to encourage activity, to grow personally, to play at the highest competitive level, and to promote the development of the whole KidsAfrik program to our larger community.
In the U.S.
Men’s Travel Soccer (since 2006), whose recent achievements are 2009 Fall MPSL Champions; 2009 Spring PVJSL Champions; 2008 Fall MPSL Champions; 2006 Spring PVSSL Champions.
Youth Development
KidsAfrik will field two youth teams (U15/16 and U17/18 Boys) in the Pioneer Valley Junior Soccer League. Coach Chris has been working with the U18 squad for two years, taking them to the MTOC (Mass Tournament of Champions) both times. This year, with the cooperation of the Amherst Youth Soccer Association, the teams will play under the KidsAfrik banner, joining the Adult Mens team. .KidsAfrik is also working with kids from all local community backgrounds including a special focus on those who don't have the same financial advantages that many of us are fortunate to enjoy.
In Africa
Setting up a Football Club
KidsAfrik founder Chris Monteiro was in Senegal, Africa in March 2010 to start the KidsAfrik program there. The KidsAfrik soccer club was officially set up in the village of Somone . 
KidsAfrik hosted its first Annual Youth Soccer Tournament on March 20-21. Chris took gifts of soccer uniforms, t-shirts and goals nets generously donated by the Amherst Youth Soccer Association , players and parents from Allsport Soccer Arena and many other local supporters.
He met with local government authorities and faculty at the University Cheihk Anta Diop, Dakar, to plan for the KidsAfrik Sports, Arts and Technology programs scheduled to begin in 2011.
KidsAfrik in also now partner with kemimalaika Foundation ( www.kemimalaika.com ) in Somone. This was a wonderful start of the KidsAfrik Project. KidsAfrik is planning on a return to Senegal at the end of 2010 for a second tournament for players aged under 14.
